Mar 08, 2026

The DPS Science Team has claimed first place in the National School Science Olympiad 2025, retaining the title for an unprecedented third year in a row.

Delhi Public School has once again brought pride to its community by winning the National School Science Olympiad 2025 — making it three consecutive titles for the school's science team.

The competition, held in Pune, saw over 400 schools from across India compete in categories including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Interdisciplinary Science. DPS won gold in all four categories.

The Winning Team

This year's team was led by Class XII students Ananya Mehta, Kabir Singh, and Tanvi Rao, coached by Dr. P.K. Sharma (Head of Science Department). "These students have been preparing since Class IX," Dr. Sharma said. "Their consistency and curiosity is what sets them apart."

Principal's Message

Principal Dr. Meera Sharma congratulated the team at a special assembly: "Three in a row is not luck. It is the result of years of hard work, great coaching, and a school culture that takes intellectual curiosity seriously. We are deeply proud."

The winning team will be felicitated at the Annual Prize Day ceremony next month. Alumni are encouraged to attend and celebrate this achievement in person.
